Studio #9

Marilyn Kennedy

A lifelong interest is art has lead Marilyn down multiple paths.  She has studied pottery, painting, sculpture, drawing and photography on this journey, presently concentrating on pottery, drawing and painting.  Marilyn likes to work in the context of time and place, so the work reflects where she is.  In the fall of 2005 she completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with Great Distinction.  Marilyn loves all the elements of art and finds image-making a natural fit for her.  If the art resonates with the viewer then she feels her task has been fulfilled.
